My Plan for Richmond Township

I see an Assessor’s office where technology aids in understanding and challenging property assessments, where exemptions are maximized for those who qualify, and where every resident feels empowered in the property assessment process.
My plan for Richmond Township is clear: an assessor’s office that is transparent, responsive, and proactive in serving our community. Here’s how I will make it happen:
  • Enhance Transparency: Provide clear, accessible information about how property assessments are determined.
  • Improve Responsiveness: Ensure every inquiry or concern from property owners is addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Promote Fairness: Work to ensure assessments are equitable, reflecting the true value of properties to prevent over- or under-taxation.

My Promise

  • Homestead Exemptions: I will ensure all eligible homeowners, especially our seniors, receive their exemptions, reducing their tax burden.

    The most overlooked exemption is the Senior Exemption.  If you are turning 65 anytime in 2025 or have turned in years prior.. please make sure you apply for this exemption if not already, it could save you up to $650 in real dollars off your property tax bill..

  • Transparency Tools:  As your next Richmond Township Assessor, I’m committed to making the assessment process fair, transparent, and accessible for all residents. One of my key initiatives is to implement a modern system that provides you with the data you need to understand and, if necessary, challenge your property assessments.
