It’s not the result I or my supporters were hoping for but the residents that showed up and voted did not want change at this time. Turnout was very low despite the contested races in our township.
The Assessor has NOT responded to the Freedom of Information request for the property records database I submitted March 15th to help me and you more easily find comparable properties in our neighborhoods.
I will continue fighting to bring transparency to Richmond Township Assessors office. Unfortunately, I have already escalated this Freedom of Information Violation to the Public Access Counselor at the Attorney General’s Office to force the release of the data.
Show up to the Annual Township Meeting April 8th at 7PM and make your voices heard.

With 8 years as a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer (CIAO) designated by the Illinois Department of Revenue (required for Assessors), and 19 years in small business, I bring a unique blend of expertise to ensure fair, transparent, and efficient property assessments.
